No charges if cancelled prior to 14 days from your first reserved night of stay. Cancellation fee charged to your credit card in the amount of the first night’s stay for each room reserved.

*NOTICE FOR ALL EVENTS: We do not get trash pick-up service here at the B&B so by booking an event, you agree to haul out all of your own garbage, with you, when you leave. Have a pick-up truck bed handy to toss black trash bags in or whatever works for you. Please bring your own trash bags as well.
From Anchorage: Take the Glenn Highway to Palmer. The road will come to a street light that intersects at Glenn Highway and Palmer/Wasilla Highway. (at this corner there is a McDonalds, Chevron and Carrs) Take a left onto the Palmer/Was highway and go 2.2 miles to Arabian Ln. Turn right (or North) onto Arabian Ln and go .6 of a mile until you take a right onto Harvest. Welcome to our wedding information section! We love to host weddings and share our breathtaking view of Pioneer Peak!
If you have scrolled through the pictures in the wedding section of our Photo album, you should have a pretty good idea of the layout most brides use for their weddings here and it seems to work beautifully. We have typically had between 200-300 in attendance. You see the chairs in the back yard to get a good feel for the lay-out which includes the amazing Pioneer Peak Mtn view.
When you rent Alaska’s Harvest B&B and grounds for a wedding there are a couple of different ways to do it. You can rent for 8 hours only (from set-up to cleaned up) for $800. That, in all honesty, only works for smaller weddings and very mid-day times for wedding and reception so that everything can be completely cleaned up by 6pm for other B&B guests to be able to arrive. That would be 10a.m.-6pm.
The most common package is this: Rent the entire house for the night before the wedding, all day and night of the wedding, checking out by 10:00a.m. the next morning (2 nights and one full day). This gives you the entire house from 2pm the day before the wedding, so that you can begin decorating, have rehearsal that evening and anyone who needs to stay in a room for that night has lodging. Then you have the entire next day to have the wedding, reception for as long as you like and plenty of time to clean everything, having all rooms still available for any out of town or local guests who may want/need it. Check-out by 10:00 a.m. the following morning.
Almost as often, the brides choose this package: Rent the entire house for the night before the wedding, and the entire house and grounds for the day of the wedding until 6pm. This gives you the rehearsal time, decorating time, wedding and reception on location. Everything needs to be cleaned up by 6pm for other B&B guests to arrive.
- Wedding only (10:00 a.m- 6:00 pm) - $800
- Full house for night before the wedding and day of (2:00 pm day prior to 6:00 pm day of) - $1600
*note: this package could also be flipped to rent the house for the full day of the wedding arriving at 11a.m. the day of and that same night, checking out the next morning by 10:00a.m. Rehearsal would have to be early on the same day as wedding.
- Full house for 2 nights (from 2pm the day before and night of), full day of wedding, checking out by 10:00a.m. the morning after - $2200
We are a non-alcohol home so do not agree to an open bar, but will allow wine or champagne toasts for the event. We require a fully refundable $500 cleaning/damage deposit provided in cash or personal check at the time of booking the event. The non-refundable down payment for securing the reservation is 1/3rd of the total package price, also to be paid at the time of booking the reservation.
We do not provide any chairs, tables or wedding furniture. We do own the rustic log arch and the rustic “Wedding/reception” sign you are welcome to use either/both, no charge. Most of the brides rent all their other needed items from Valley Rental Center, a.k. a. Special Events Party Rental. Regardless of where you choose to have your special day, you are wise to be getting your venue reserved early. Some dates are booked a year in advance.
