From the first second you walk into Alaska's Harvest B&B you feel like your right at home. The attention to detail is obvious and its authentic, like your host Joe and Collette. From my first conversation with them to saying our final goodbye Joe and Collette made you feel like family. This B&B is 5 star all the way, do not hesitate you will not regret it. OH yeah, the view off the back deck with your morning coffee, "priceless". I will recommend this B&B to everyone, thanks again to Joe and Collette for a wonderful time.

After a few bad experiences with Bed & Breakfast places up north, we were very fearful as to what we would find here... but we then pull up our car to the B&B Taj Majal! The food was plentiful, room was huge, beds were great and we enjoyed your book collection and maps of sights in the community. PERFECT! This was absolutely wonderful. The drive up from the South had been stressful due to a fatal accident and freeway closure. The tension melted away almost immediately after I entered Alaska's harvest. I've already told a number of people to stay here and I haven't even left yet! The Hands have made their home into a place where travelers feel like they have come home. Their bed and breakfast accommodations are exceedingly comfortable. A charming Alaskan wilderness décor makes the visitor ‘feel’ they are in a remote location, while being able to enjoy all the amenities of living in a modern suburb. Concern for their guests is shown in all the thoughtful conveniences that are available. We never tired of the breathtaking view of the beautiful snowcapped mountains out our bedroom window. In the summer of 2003 I spent three wonderful weeks of vacation at the Alaska's Harvest Bed & Breakfast. Coming over from Germany I found a really unique treasure. The house with its charming rooms is gorgeous and the view of the spectacular surrounding mountains is breathtaking. The owners, Joe and Collette Hand, extended me a heartfelt welcome. Their warm hospitality was overwhelming. I made friends with them and shared their beautiful home again, for three months in 2004. I felt at home 8000 miles away from home,it was an especially memorable time. I enjoyed the beauty,serenity and recreation this place has to offer. Meanwhile I got married and I'm living in Washington State. My husband and I are looking forward to spending an unforgettable vacation at this Bed & Breakfast in the near future.
